Svendborg BalletTeater produces professional ballet performances every year, which premiere in Svendborg and then go on tour.
We produce professional ballet performances of a high international standard, specifically made for smaller and more unconventional stages, which would otherwise never be visited by professional classical ballet performances – something no other Nordic ballet companies have done before.
Read here which performances are going on tour.

Experience a magical evening of ballet as Svendborg Balletteater invites the audience into a world of enchantment, elegance, and timeless music. This special performance brings together two of ballet's most beloved classics – The Sleeping Beauty and The Nutcracker – in a poetic and dreamlike dance experience where imagination reigns supreme.
The audience is led from a brilliant palace ball to the enchanting Land of Sweets, where Tchaikovsky's iconic music forms the musical foundation for an evening filled with beauty and magic. Look forward to a moving and contrasting evening of ballet in two acts, which celebrates the many facets of life through three works. The first act opens with classical charm and pure dancing joy in an elegant pas de trois based on Bournonville's iconic steps, staged by Dinna Bjørn.
Following is Petr Zuska’s Maria’s Dream – a humorous and surreal journey into the dreams of the ballerina Maria Taglioni, where, with playfulness and poetry, she dances free from the expectations of time.
